Matt Aubin is the Founder of VentureOut and Blakhausens Group, and has spent more than two decades starting, growing, acquiring, advising, and exiting businesses across multiple industries. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), he brings real entrepreneurial experience to helping business owners better understand their value, strengthen what they’ve built, and prepare for their next chapter. Matt is also the Co-Founder of a Non-Profit, Climbing For Change, is a longtime Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) member and Past President of EO Edmonton, and continues to support entrepreneurs and community organizations through various advisory board roles, mentorship, and impact-driven initiatives.

Stephanie Aubin is a Partner at VentureOut and Blakhausens, with more than two decades of experience helping build and support entrepreneurial companies. As the Co-Founder of KEEN Creative and Controller within the Blakhausens group of companies, she brings a strong financial and operational lens to the team. Stephanie’s work helps create the structure, clarity, and discipline that growing businesses need to make better decisions and build lasting value.

Kris David serves as Senior Technology Lead at VentureOut, bringing deep technical experience and a long history within the Blakhausens group of companies. Since joining our group in 2006, Kris has grown from Junior Developer to his senior role, helping shape the digital systems, websites, and technology solutions behind a wide range of client and internal projects. At VentureOut, he brings that same practical, builder-focused mindset to our platforms, helping to turn complex business insight into technological innovations and value for entrepreneurs.

Ben Ripley serves as Senior Operations Lead at VentureOut, helping build the operational foundation behind the company’s growth. With a focus on systems, execution, team alignment, and practical problem-solving, Ben helps connect big-picture strategy to the day-to-day work that moves the business forward. Across VentureOut and the broader Blakhausens group of companies, his work supports the mission of helping entrepreneurs understand value, improve their businesses, and prepare for their next chapter.
